H L Sheard and A Reusch Nuriootpa High School Library

The H L Sheard and A Reusch Nuriootpa High School Library is a well-equipped library catering for the information and research needs of all students and staff at the school.

The collection consists of books, magazines, and newspapers selected primarily to support the courses of study offered at NHS.

There are laptops and computers for student use providing easy access to the internet and individual student files kept on the school server. Students also have access to databases and a range of online resources.

Printing and photocopying facilities are also available.

Adequate room is provided for individual, quiet study as well as group and class teaching.

A Teacher Librarian and Library Support Staff are available to help students with specific research or information requests.

Book Borrowing Information

Books may be borrowed for 4 weeks, and can be extended by bringing the book back into the library. Magazines are a 1 week loan.

Year 7–10: 6 books

Year 11-13: 10 books
