School History 1980-1989

On Monday the 9th of August 1982 the open space staff room caught on fire. Causing damage to equipment, books, carpet and fittings in the area. However normal running of the school was not affected.

Another disaster struck the school in 1983 on March 2nd, the whole district was flooded and the school was closed for 2 days and was declared a relief base as the school had only suffered minor damage.

On the 3rd of November 1989 the Coulthard Hall was opened by Sir Condor Laucke, KCMG, Lieutenant-Governor of South Australia.
