Savoury cinnamon and bark characteristics on the nose. Minty and eucalypt notes which are characteristic of the school’s vineyard. Bay leaf, juniper and blueberry, with chocolate mint notes also evident. ‘A well balanced wine on the palette’.

Aromatic, with a bouquet of raspberries and notes of red cherry. Vibrant fruit carries through to the palate and is integrated with creamy oak and velvety tannins on the finish.

This 2022 release is a medium full-flavoured driven wine. It has excellent concentration and structure with obvious but well-balanced tannins. A fruit-driven and lively wine, the 2022 Barossa Scholar Shiraz is a ruby red in colour. It is aromatic with a bouquet of raspberries and notes of red cherry. The fruit vibrancy carries through to the palate and is integrated with creamy oak and velvety tannins on the finish.

The perfect varietal blend of Cabernet and Shiraz. The Cabernet provides structure with leafy characters and a hint of dried sage. This is complemented by the Shiraz, with the red berry flavours adding vibrancy, warmth and purity of fruit.
