Nuriootpa High school has a highly successful livestock club that allows students to work with a variety of animal enterprises.
These include:
Students learn a variety of skills ranging from animal handling, nutrition, safe work practices, animal preparation, leading and showing, and teamwork skills through their involvement in the Livestock Club.
Beekeeping Club members learn the vital aspects of beekeeping, with a focus to manage hives correctly and to produce honey and wax for sale and competitions.
